People with disabilities who follow research into curing their condition are often disappointed by near-miraculous stories of rodents regaining significant function after experimental treatments, only to see the treatment fail to materialize for humans. It’s frustrating, to say the least. That is the basis for my question submitted for this Monday’s CNN/YouTube debate. Anderson Cooper says questions will be selected based on their merit, so let’s hope mine makes the cut.
