When will mediators be able to apply for IMI Certification?

0

In the first quarter of 2008. Several preparatory steps need to be taken. The standards, criteria and guidelines must first be agreed by the Standards Commission and approved by IMI’s Board. REEs whose training programs meet the standards required for mediators to reach IMI training standards then need to be recognized. And IMI’s search engine and full internet functionality for viewing and updating Certified Mediator profiles needs to be completed. This work began in October 2007 and is expected to take 5-6 months.
