When will I need to submit my first test submission to Ginnie Mae?
To schedule a test, please call the Ginnie Mae EDI Coordinator at 1-888-GINNIE4 (option 1). In cooperation with the Ginnie Mae EDI Coordinator, you will work out a testing schedule that meets the compliance deadlines. Since the completion of the EDI implementation is scheduled for December 1998, issuers are encouraged to begin their testing by the second quarter of 1998. The testing process typically takes six to eight weeks.
