When will I find out about the judges decision?
The decision will be mailed to you as soon after the hearing as possible. If you do not receive a decision within three weeks, contact the Telephone Claims Center or the Administrative Law Judge section where you had your hearing (the phone number is on the notice of hearing). The decision will set forth the facts found from evidence, the reasons for the findings, and the decision itself. There will also be an explanation of how to file an appeal with the Unemployment Insurance Appeal Board if you disagree with the decision. If you do not understand the language of the decision, you may call the Telephone Claims Center and it will be explained to you.
