When will Envisat data be available?

0

As with all satellites, Envisat will have an in-orbit checkout phase to confirm all its systems are operating correctly. It is expected that Cal/Val investigators will get access to the data about 3-4 months after launch. The Cal/Val stage will take about 6 months, so data products are expected to be routinely available for all users about 9 months after launch.
