When will ENERGY STAR-qualified SSL luminaires be ready?
Eligibility for ENERGY STAR® qualification for select niche applications of SSL luminaires began on September 30, 2008. Manufacturers can apply for ENERGY STAR qualification on select SSL luminaires that have been tested and determined to satisfy the ENERGY STAR criteria. Below is a list of the current applications eligible for the ENERGY STAR LED lighting program. Additional applications are under consideration. Check back every few months to see what new products can qualify. The residential and commercial lists of qualified products are available at www.energystar.gov/LED.
