When will construction of the Trans Canada Trail start?
Construction of the Trail has started! Sections of the Trail have been constructed across the province. The first three sections of the Trail were opened during the summer of 1997 in Douglas Provincial Park, Duck Mountain Provincial Park and Cypress Hills Interprovincial Park. The forth section outside of a provincial park was opened up by the Crooked Lake Parks and Recreation Board in August 1998.
