When will British Columbians receive their one time dividend payment?
While the vast majority of cheques were issued in late June, 2008, the Canada Revenue Agency continues to distribute dividend cheques on a monthly basis as additional income tax returns are filed and assessed. The last date to file your 2006 or 2007 income tax return in order to receive the dividend is August 1, 2010. It will take between 4 to 8 weeks from the time a person’s 2006 or 2007 income tax return is assessed to receive their Climate Action Dividend cheque.
