MP3 Pro is only designed for low bit rates in MP3s and therefore not very suitable for the professional use. Furthermore a licence fee has to be paid for MP3Pro and also for AAC which would make BPM Studio more expensive. Therefore supporting this format doesnt make much sense and is not planned. OGG is a licence free Audio-codec and enjoys a great popularity and spreading. The OGG format will be supported from version 5 on.
