When will an employees account receive wages that have been direct deposited?
While it can depend on when the employee’s bank posts transactions – whether at the opening of business or at end-of-day processing – the following typically applies: • For payrolls processed three banking days prior to check date, wages are posted to the employee’s account and available for withdrawal on check date. • For payrolls processed two banking days or less prior to check date, wages may be posted to the employee’s account on check date, but the employee may not have access to them until the end of the day or next day.
