When were national parks established and why?
I believe it was during the Roosevelt Administration in the 40’s that the act was passed. Depending on which park to when they became National Parks. This was done to preserve wildlife and so that we wouldn’t have a bank/gas station on every corner. America is growing so fast, they needed to preserve some land so we have something else to look at besides the concerte streets/buildings.
