When was the technology of prolonging battery life originally developed?
Development started in the early 1990’s by the US Aviation Universe Bureau (NASA). In early stages it was used for military purposes and then moved into general uses. Similar to the Eruma System they used high frequency pulses to crack off crystalline sulfates, but at that time the devices were only effective when used for battery charging. In addition, the original devices were too strong forcibly removing the sulfates from the electrode plates and damaging them. Another drawback was their excessively high price.
