When was the “Shirley Temple” cocktail invented?
While one claim says April 1938, I think the internet is full of legend on this issue, and the real answer is simply in the late 1930s. I like the tenth birthday idea, but it really isn’t supported by internet-available corroboration. The real answer might be in her autobiography (referenced below).
