When was the first super bowl ever played?

The first NFL vs AFL championship game, played in the less than full L.A. Coliseum, was won by Green Bay over Kansas City and was played in 1967. But it was not called the Super Bowl until later. I’m not sure when but maybe after Broadway Joe Namath led the New York Jets over the then Baltimore Colts in the third game between the two leagues in 1969. This was before the two leagues became one.
