When Was the Dreamcast Released?
After the popularity of the Sega Genesis–and disappointment of the Sega CD–Sega decided to outperform the Sony Playstation by releasing a high-quality CD-based video gaming system of their own. The result was the Sega Dreamcast, which featured capabilities that no other system offered at the time. The interactive text-based controller added even more to this system, and when it was released, there was a huge demand for it.
