When using the SUNY Oswego directory in CE, is there an easy way to send people an email once I find them?
Yes. Once you have found the person that you would like to send a message to, just click the desired user’s email address and a new message window will appear. If you would like to send an email to multiple addresses, click the checkboxes of the desired users in the first search. Next, perform other search/searches and select each sought after address. When you have finished your searches, select “Send Email” in the “Action” drop down menu. This will open a new message window with all the checked addresses in the “To:” field. You might be searching for a person in the directory by entering their first AND last name in the search box. This may not work due to the way Communications Express processes searches in the corporate directory. For the most reliable results, try searching only the first name OR last name.
