When using the behavior checklist, must all 10 core questions be used?
The behavior checklist feature is optional. If a state chooses to use the behavior checklist feature, however, it must plan to use all 10 core questions. When one question from a particular domain (nutrition, food safety, food resource management) is not answered, the system produces zeros for improvement by cluster of behavior, zeros for improvement within a cluster of questions, zeros for those who demonstrated at entry and exit, and zeros at entry and exit in all three categories. Thus, responding only to some of the questions and not all of them will yield mute results.
