When using call forwarding, why does my cellphone voicemail answer a call when I press the ignore button on my phone?
When you press the ignore button on your cell phone, it takes over the call and immediately directs it to voice mail of the cell phone. This behavior is similar to actually answering a call, so the ONENumber Call Forwarding routes this call through to your cell phone. Likewise, if your call is forwarded to a phone system number, the phone system will immediately take over call control.
