When uploading, PSREdit500 completes the upload, but the scanner only shows 89% and then clears the memory. How can I fix this?
Early versions of the CPU firmware on the PSR-500 and PSR-600 had a bug that prevented the clone process (either from a PC program or another radio) from working correctly at full speed. The software vendors were adding extra delay time while uploading the data to the scanners to make the upload process work. This issue was resolved in CPU firmware version 1.2 and later. Since it was now possible to make the uploads take less time, the software vendors removed the extra delay that was present in early versions of their software. Unfortunately this means that radios that have these early versions of firmware will have problems when attempting to upload a configuration to them. There are two ways to resolve this issue: The recommended method to correct this issue is to visit the GRE Support Site and download the latest CPU and DSP firmware versions and install them into your scanner. The upgrade process is fairly easy and only takes a few minutes to complete. Once the current firmware is
