A. This problem is puzzling and will take further research into the nature of SQR. What can be related at this time is: 1. SQR seems to ONLY accept netbios printer names ( 8 characters or less, no spaces) or printers that come directly off of a “Print Server”(\\printserver\printer). Please note that even on the print server the name must be 8 characters or less, no spaces. 2. You may “net use” the printer to one of the lpt ports. This can be done in a batch file that runs when the user logs onto the P.C. When this is done, the user must specify either lpt1 or lpt2 when printing a SQR report. 3. If the printer is coming off a print server, the user may specify \\printserver\printer when printing a SQR report. Note the following examples: In the first example the report is directed to print at printer: bazaar from print server bigtrain.
