When trying to lose weight, why is it important to drink plenty of water?
Ok here’s the deal: your kidneys need water to function properly and when you’re body is deprived of water your liver has to pick up the slack of the kidneys. Another main function of you’re liver is to convert fat into energy. So if you’re liver is concentrating on your kidneys jobs, it can’t do it’s job of converting fat into energy so you gain weight. In addition to that, a person who doesn’t get enough water will get cravings for water that they mistake for cravings for food so they eat more. So yes, it does keep you from feeling hungry as well. Drinking water will help you lose weight. 8 lbs is a lot though so you’ll have to cut out all soda and sugary drinks/juices and eat healthier.
