when trying to install windows 7, the installation program cannot detect my hard disk?
You will need to install the drivers specific to your hard disk during the installation process. When the install pauses and gives you the option to install any device drivers, select the option to browse to the location, install the hard disk device drivers and continue with the install. You MAY run into the problem that there are no device drivers for your specific hard drive for Windows 7 yet. If you don’t already have them or can’t find them on Samsung’s site, try giving a call or email to their support staff and see if they have one they can provide you that will work under Win-7.
