When trying to download a file from the internet, all I see are unrecognizeable characters coming across the screen, and no file is downloaded. What do I do?

This may happen if the file you are using has a *.exe, *.com or other executable file type extension. Stop the download, and turn Speedlink off. You can do this by clicking on the Speedlink Accelerator Settings icon in the upper right hand corner of the browser, and Clicking the “Accelerator Off” setting. After the download is completed, switch Speedlink back on to resume normal browsing.
