When to give 1st vaccination for new born puppies?and what ?
Puppy should receive their first vaccinations when they’re around 6 to eight weeks old, and should be vaccinated against Distemper, Parvo-virus, Hepatitis, and Kennel Cough. Kennel Cough has two components; Bordatella Bronchiseptica, and Para Influenza Virus (also known as Adeno Virus) Para Influenza Virus is the most commonly vaccinated against. C4 vaccinations (they might be known as something different outside Australia) protect against Distemper, Hepatitis, Parvo-virus, and Para Influenza Virus. C5 vaccinates against Distemper, Hepatitus, Parvo-virus, and both Para Influenza Virus and Bordatella Bronchseptica. This vaccination is generally given when a dog is placed in a boarding kennel. The next vaccination should be given about 6 weeks after the first, and 6 weeks after that the pups should recieve their final vaccination. Then in a year’s time, your pup, now a grown up dog, will require a booster shot each year to help him stay immune to these diseases.
