NetCams can be connected to a LAN having only private IP addresses. However, the whole network can be down, if the network’s bandwidth is not sufficient to support all connected devices appropriately. Using auto-sensing dual speed (10/100) hubs will improve the total bandwith of the Network. Data traffic can be reduced by dividing the Network in Sub-Nets using Network switches.
