When the hard disk is full how does purging happen, and does it affect performance? Can we force purging of expired files at prescheduled times?
The CacheQube expires cache entries gradually, as the disk begins to get full. Removal of expired documents happens without any interruption of normal service. Performance impact is minimal because expiration only involves removing files (normal operation involves reading and writing entire files — more work than simply removing a file).
