When the first church was created , when did the christians start praying to mary?
when we look at the christian church and its beginnings the actual church worshipped God and God only.its was only later when the catholic church started.originally the catholic church was christian in docturine, but with time adopted pagan rituals so to become more accepted by the pagan locals and one of these pagan beliefs was a worship of a goddess, a goddess in many places which was known for fertility.they replaced this goddess with mary-the woman who gave birth to Jesus and encouraged catholics to pray to mary instead of God.mary has no such power and there is nothing in the bible to say that mary can intercept prays to God.sadly the catholic church ignores the command about not worshipping false idols.
