When the card is plugged in why does a third part driver install automatically instead of the 3e-010F driver?

Windows XP comes with a set of PCMCIA drivers already installed. This can cause a conflict if the card you are using (CC&C or Senao) has the same Plug and Play ID as an already installed driver. For example, the Red Inalambrica Local 802.11b WLAN PC Card Plug and Play ID matches with that of the CC&C and Senao cards. To correct this problem follow these steps: 1. Select Control Panel –> Performance & Maintenance –> System 2. Select the Hardware tab. 3. Select Device Manager. 4. Select Network Adapters. 5. Select the conflicting adapter (ex: Red Inalambrica Local 802.11b WLAN PC Card) 6. Right-click and select Properties for the card. 7. Select the Drivers tab. 8. Select Update Driver. 9. Select “Install from a list or a specific location” 10. Select “Don’t search. I will choose the driver to install.” 11. Select the 3e-010F Crypto Client PC Card. 12. Click Next and finish updating the driver.
