When the battery runs out on house alarm wireless sensor will it trigger the tamper alarm?
What will happen depends on your alarm system. Your alarm will either signal you or you will get a phone call from the alarm company. It may help to understand that wireless alarm sensors don’t just signal to your system when an alarm is triggered. They also have a “heartbeat” signal which communicates that “I’m here and functioning”. If your main alarm system stops hearing a sensor’s heartbeat signal, something is wrong. It could be from a dead battery which makes the sensor useless. It could also have been tampered with and deactivated by an intruder or destroyed by fire. All of those things warrant an alarm.
