When the baby jesus said to Merlin “let them eat cake” what did he really mean?
Baby Jesus, being the son of God and possessing all His omniscience, knew that as an infant, consuming wine and fish would not be healthy. Instead, being young and adoring sweets, decided that when it came to the poor, he would “let them eat cake.” Since Merlin, in all his wizardly awesomeness, was in charge at the time, it was up to him to duplicate food for the masses with his magicks. Baby Jesus asked him to create thousands of Angel Food cakes to feed the people, but Merlin was a chocoholic and made Devils Food Cake instead. This is why witchcraft is considered evil to this date.
