I just bought a 1991 nissan sentra. It doens’t have power steering and we can’t figure out where to install a pump or anything for power steering. Could it be possible it was never installed on the vehicle? A: They did come with out power steering in base models. I once had a 2000 Chevy Metro that did not have it, I believe it was not on the metro to improve fuel economy as the pump uses horsepower to turn the pump. If you are looking to install power steering on the Sentra you will need more components than the pump.
