Hey Dude, Even after discontinuing STD facility, the local calls to BSNL Land-line will remain free. This plan is called “Lo-Kar-Lo-Baat” in UP-East (Telecom) Circle. But it costs Rs131=00 per month + Tax, not Rs99=00. In this plan you also get to talk to a BSNL mobile for 180 seconds for each call which is 60 seconds for usual customers. You can verify this from the toll-free no.-1500 from your BSNL Land-line.
