Unless you plan on visiting tourist sites on the island a car is not needed. ESJ Towers is walking distance to other popular hotels in Isla Verde, and there are lots of restaurants in the area. You can take the public bus to Old San Juan during the day; it stops in front of the property. If you’re going out to party to Old San Juan at night, I highly recommend a TAXI. A taxi to get there would cost around $16. If you want to explore the island, rent a car for the day. In front of the ESJ Tower in Isla Verde Avenue, you will find Charlies Rental and AVIS.
