A. The dbinfo tool was probably used to set the name and/or path of the transaction log file, and the path that is set does not exist on the NetWare machine. To find out where the transaction log should be, enter “dbinfo .db” on a Win32 machine. If the path looks like a Windows pathname (eg. “C:\asa7\database.log”) or a Unix pathname (eg. “/users/dave/asa7/database.log”), you will need to use the -t switch of dblog to reset the transaction log filename to a valid path on the NetWare machine.
