When speaking of being in Gods Image, Is this our Bodies or Our soul(spirit)?
As humans we are unique among creation in our ability to reflect God’s personality traits, the most prominent ones being love, power, wisdom and justice. Being created in his image means that we too have these attributes to a lesser extent. Mankind is the only creature outside of the spirit realm that can show love on many levels whether it is between marriage mates, friends, family or strangers. Man’s power is obvious in his ability to have all of the earth under his control. Wisdom is reflected in man’s ability to use knowledge to his advantage, and mankind is the only one of God’s creation capable of showing true justice. Being created in God’s image means we are created with the larger personality traits of the Almighty. As humans we are truly unique amongst all other creation. No other creation can show all these traits simultaneously.
