When sleep is the natural recourse of relaxation prescribed by nature itself, why is yogic form of relaxation advocated?
In the modern day busy life it is become next to impossible for most people to actually get sound sleep and give complete relaxation to the body. The irony of the situation is that at the same time the need for rest and relaxation has become very mandatory. This is the reason why the yogic form of relaxation is advocated and even prescribed for many people especially for the one’s suffering with stress related disorders. Although it is supported with insufficient scientific evidence, it is seen that such people get immediate and continuous respite from their ailments.
