When sitting foundation maths gcse?

When sitting ANY GCSE, whether it be foundation or higher, you are sat in the hall with everyone else taking that particular subject GCSE. You sit in complete silence and there is a table plan (I presume there is, I cannot think of a school/college that does not do table plans.) There should be some type of form or diagram somewhere that will show you where you sit. I could be wrong, but I presume that you sit where you are sat. The exam papers are handed out to you (in mocks sometimes they are already set out on the desk). In fact, to prove that they have not been looked at or messed with, the exam officials open the wrapping there and then in front of the body of students and then they are laid out on the tables. You must not open the paper, or fill anything in until instructed. Just sit there in silence while they go about their job. Then, an exam official or a teacher will read out rules of the exam hall, stuff about pens, pencil cases, calculators, electronics and anything else yo
