When should Toddlers start eating table food??

If the peditrician isn’t concerned, then I wouldn’t worry too much. 13 months is still pretty young, but if you offer him foods that he can eat (mashed potatoes, mushy refried beans, finely cut up meat, etc) then he will slowly develop likes. It takes quite some time for toddlers to learn to like foods – it can take as many as 10 “tryings” before they realize that it’s yummy. Just offer a little bit at a time, a large variety of different types of foods and keep at it. The more foods you offer him now, the more he will eat when he’s older.
