You should see your florist and bakery at least 8 months before the wedding. Florists and popular bakeries can get bogged down by weddings and sometimes they run right into the next year. This also includes a church, Minister, Priest, etc., limo service, banquet hall. You also need time to choose your wedding dress (that could take a couple of months) and give yourself time for your fittings and this includes your Maid of Honor and Bridesmaids, not to mention the groom’s tux, bestman and ushers. Invitations should be out 4 – 6 months before the wedding to give you time to count how many guests will be coming because you will have to pay per plate at the reception hall.
