When should I take a barn kitten from its mother to become an indoor cat?
i wouldnt wait for it to be weaned as mum is going to teach it to hate humans as they are barn cats sou i would wait untill they can open their eyes and then i would take it in and adopt it and hand feed it your self but you do have to take it in to account that if you work away from home and you are gone all day you wont beable to hand raise it as you will have to feed it every 3-4 hrs untill it is old enough to go without during the night. It is a very special bond that you get with the kitten as i have had to raise quite a few little ones as i have had 5 litters in my lot of cats and i do have 9 cats. and they do take the litter box easier if you show them at an early age.
