When should I start to dilate I am 7 months pregnant with twin girls?
Everyone is different. Many people can be dialated 2 cm for weeks before they deliver. I agree with the other posters — as much as you’d like to deliver, wait as long as possible. Twins are notoriously early and if you can get to at least 34 weeks, they ‘ll be much healthier. When I was pregnant w/my twins, I started having contractions from about 25 weeks on. Whenever they’d get 5 mins apart, I had to go to the hospital and they’d stop labor. When I had regular contractions at 34 weeks, they couldn’t stop it and my precious babies were born. 4 1/2 pounds each (boy and girl). They went home in 6 days and have had no developmental problems. They are now 7 and doing fine. But stay pregnant as long as you can. Stay hydrated, since deheydration causes your utereous to contract, and prolonged contractions cause you to dialate.
