When should I purchase DroboCare for my Drobo storage device?
The answer to this question depends upon when you purchased your Drobo product and/or when you purchased an active DroboCare contract for that product. The key date to keep in mind is October 1, 2009. Both the warranty and DroboCare programs changed effective October 1, 2009. Please see the following for the terms and conditions of the two warranty policies: Warranty Terms for units purchased prior to Oct 1, 2009 Warranty Terms for units purchased after Oct 1, 2009 You should purchase DroboCare BEFORE the standard warranty or active DroboCare contract expires, but no more than 30 days before expiration.
