When Should I Plant Peony Seeds?
Peonies grown from seed will take three to five years to reach flowering maturity. These bright blossoms will carry on for generations with the proper care, much like a special tree. The cut blooms are often used in Memorial Day cemetery decorations. Because of the large size of the mature plant, they are best planted at the back of the flower bed, to accommodate smaller species in front.
