When should i give my horse vaccination,boosters,jabs and wormer in the year?
1. Booster jabs – need to be given within a year of the last lot. Check your horse’s passport/vaccination certificate to see when they are due. 2. Worming – depends when you last did it and what you gave. Now would be a good time to treat for tapeworm and then give a wormer for small worms. I’ve put in a helpful couple of links below. If you don’t understand what you are doing, ask one of the companies to sort it out for you – but you will have to buy the wormers from them. It is too fiddly to explain simply, but not difficult to understand if you take some time to work through it.
