When should I consider Dyneon™ Base Resistant Elastomers?
Dyneon™ Base Resistant Elastomers (BREs) offer outstanding base resistance (as the name suggests). Consider using Dyneon BREs when your application calls for exposure to a basic environment such as engine oil reference fluid (service fluid 105), transmission fluid and axle lubes. Dyneon BRE’s offer the benefit of resistance to hardening of the part surface which can lead to surface crazing, cracking and eventually part failure.
