Pro-Rust Out (Iron Out) should be added whenever salt is added or every three months, whichever is sooner. The cleaner should be mixed into a solution of about 4-5 ounces to one gallon of water. The solution should be poured into the salt tank, down the brine well (the tube that is in the salt tank).
