Whenever a change is made to a project, any show that is playing will be stopped automatically. The volume and balance controls on the Audio tab are for setting the playback volume relative to the system’s overall volume. To adjust the volume while a show is playing, use either the Windows volume control or the mechanical control on your speakers. A real-time volume and mute control for use during preview or window-based shows is planned for a future release.
