When recording video plus after programe number it asks for code what is this code?
When you use video plus, you need special codes to record each programme. If you look at TV listings in newspapers and magazines, you’ll see that each programme has a series of random numbers. For example, it’ll have the programme name, then, say, 871323. Type the listed number into the screen where it asks for the code, and the programme will automatically record at the appropriate time, with no need to enter the date, time, channel, etc. If your VCR has PDC, (Programme Delivery Control), I would recommend you put that on, as this will ensure that the program starts recording at the actual running time of the program, instead of the time it’s supposed to start. This allows for programmes starting/finishing earlier or later than scheduled.
