Several printers are now known to fail when printing from a variety of windows applications. Many of these printers are older office printers or less expensive models designed for the home. The entire 7XX, 710, 712C printer family from HP when using a Packard Bell computer have limited support for different typefaces. These combinations are known to have problems printing different fonts. RedAlert(tm) does not add, modify or delete fonts. The system uses fonts the same way most other windows programs do. If your computer and printer are not producing the required output when printing OUTSIDE of RedAlert you will need to contact your printer manufacturer or Microsoft. Refer to TB-70 for instructions on how to determine which fonts are not printing properly. This document outlines how to test the printer independent of the RedAlert(tm) System.
