In STATISTICA, you can save the contents of any Scrollsheet in spreadsheet (data file) format (files with the file name extension *.sta), thus allowing you to use the contents of the output Scrollsheet as input for an analysis, or to export it to another file format. This is accomplished by selecting the ‘Save as data’ command available from the File… menu. In some analysis results dialogs, such as Multiple Regression or Factor Analysis, an option is provided to save specific results (e.g., residuals, factor scores) as a data file. These options allow the user to select variables from the data file to be saved along with the results so that the user can then use STATISTICA’s vast analysis and graphics facilities for further exploration.
